About us
Why we built Interr
Landing your business and talent in Japan shouldn't be a bureaucratic ordeal. Interr brings company setup, visas, housing, employees, and tax into one place — making it transparent, modular, and genuinely human.
The problem we saw
Landing a business and its people in Japan means navigating company registration, visas, housing, banking, tax, insurance and payroll — across language barriers, opaque pricing, and processes that assume you already know how the system works. Newcomers are too often handed an expensive, all-or-nothing package, or left to piece it together alone. We believe you deserve to see exactly what you're paying for, choose only the services you need, and understand every step.
Our goal
To become the trusted, software-first platform for building a business and a life in Japan — where anyone, in their own language, can assemble a package they understand, pay a fair and transparent price, and track every service to completion. We want to lower the barrier to operating in Japan, one transparent step at a time.
CEO

Cheng Lin
Before founding Interr, Cheng spent years at Google, where his own moves across borders revealed how painful setting up and relocating across countries can be. Opaque processes, hidden costs, and language barriers often deter companies and talented people from establishing themselves in Japan. He started Interr to change that—combining clear software with dedicated support to transform a confusing maze into a transparent, guided journey.
